Women of the Bible Write from Their Hearts to Ours
by Becky Doughty
Dear Sister,
I have been asked to tell you my story in my own words…
A beautiful princess and her prince charming…who turns out to be not so charming after-all.
A tormented outcast watching life pass her by.
A wealthy society dame slumming…and loving it.
A mother waiting for her son to come around.
A brutal kid-napping gone right.
Sounds wonderful! What a creative writing avenue!
Thanks! I did enjoy the research – and the Lord brought about in me such a change of heart towards women in general as I got to know the women in His story.
Glad you stopped by and checked things out here!
Becky,
I loved the book read right through it and plan on going back to do the devotions. I really wish we had The Fold tent here when all four of us girls are cycling at the same time it is a nightmare in the house for the men. I can not believe the torment she must have felt watching her family and friends from a distance. Every women’s story touched me thank you so much for bringing to life the women in the bible and make them real and approachable to me. God Bless you!
Diane Maldonado
Diane,
Thank you soooooo much for letting me know this! And yes, I wish we had The Fold here, too, but selfishly, because I’d try to figure out how to arrange my schedule so that I could go there alone. And sleep. And read. And maybe even write…. Is that wrong????
Hugs from a friend afar. Love you!

Cindy-Sue,
What wonderful words of encouragement to find here this morning! Thank you for sharing your response to Willow’s story with me – you don’t know how much of a balm that is to me. I’m glad you discovered the gang at the Coach House, and I’m looking forward to what comes next with them!
You made my day!
Please hurry and write vol 3 of Elderberry Croft. I love Willow and there is something about these stories that make me want to laugh, to cry and inside – long for something more. You are truly blessed by God with a gift. Thank you for sharing that gift. Please keep it up.
